Schools with recording programs:

University of Hartford (CT, 2 hours from NYC)
University of New Haven (CT, closer to NYC)

Those are the only ones I really know of since I live in Connecticut and want to stay in state.

He meant are you asking about recording schools or just schools in general. You didn't say anything about recording in the post.

my bad ... well as far as for normal school i woiuld be able to look that up and think find that ok , but im lookin for more of the recording schools .. or maybe even a a site that maybe lists a majority of them here in the states ..

Actually, I did find a list on Grammy.com which has a bunch of them, including the ones I mentioned.
