basically, im looking for teh biggest bang for my buck. something that has minimal ins... 4 good sound, more outs... 6. some like hardware stuff, to make it easy to use. and basically just the most user friendly, so i can just jack in my mixer and to it and start recording some tighter stuff. maybe some little tricks would be nice to.
any adivce?
thanx

Oct 12, 2002 10:22 am I would say a good bet is the M Audio Delta 66, 4 analog ins, 4 analog outs and S/PDIF in and out

It is essentially a Delta 44 with S/PDIF, the 44 is cool too

if you don't need S/PDIF but you said you wanted 6 outs...in which case the BEST choice is probably the Delta 410 4 ins 10 outs and is only $199 buck right now at MF:

M-Audio has tons of drivers support, WDM, ASIO, MME...all the big boys...they run very low latency and have GREAT support.
Anyway, thatis my two cents, a 4 in 10 out sound card for $200 is AWESOME!
Mar 15, 2003 08:13 am Can someone point me in the right direction, im trying to choose a sound card that is not to expensive but still has decent recording capabilities. Im not going to be doing anything to complicated and all my inputs will be done through my behringer ub802 mixer, basic vocal and acustic gtr tracks. What are some option for me without sacrificing to much quality?
