8 bit Nintendo Sound

I want to do some songs with that old school kinda crappy 8 bit midi Nintendo sound a la Metroid, Kid Icarus, Zelda etc. Does anybody know of any plugins/vst instruments/ filters whatever that can get that kind of sound? I imagine there must be some. Thanks.

Hey Flame thanks for the link. That helps but I'm also looking for that crappy midi sound that doesn't really have any overtones, etc.

Yeah Minkus I was thinking about doing that (not that I would do anything illegal) but I was hoping someone had already gone to the trouble for me. But thanks for the reply.
