I highly recommend upgrading your account. There's a TON of new features on the PRO side of the fence. My favorite right now is the Virtual Studio, which allows PRO members to bounce tracks back and forth to allow collaboration. Got a beat you don't know what to do with? Have a guitar riff that you like (but maybe your band doesn't) and you want to see how it will turn out? post them both. It's a load of fun.
Personally, I didn't think i'd have the time to participate since i have my own studio that i work fulltime in and i also have a band working on a full length album. But i managed to squeeze some quality time with that particular section and IMO (in my opinion), it's already earned my membership fee.

and here I took a while to build it cuz I didn't think anyone would use it!

Custom Avatars are a must...I have a few I use for Football (soccer) boards back here but they are all 200x200 size so too big for this fine site.
So..the wee flag it had to be!
After having a wee "shufty" (aka: look) around the PRO Site I would recommend to all.
Loadsa features and worth every penny.

I have considered allowing bigger avatars, but it seems counter-productive having server space and load time that could well be used for more productive things like music and conversation :)

May 14, 2004 06:48 pm TD, I just did my cheesy one in PhotoShop in about 5 minutes. I am sure you can wip one up in some program. I just gotta figure out how to shrink images down to size to get some really cool ones made.
