Ya, it is a decent low-latency, ASIO2 compatible sound card. I have a "Gina 20" for a while, which I am selling right now, but it was (er, still is) a great card. The only downside is they are very picky about having a genuine Intel chipset on the mainboard. The 20 bit version cannot have anything else, the 24 bit versions are better, but still pretty picky.

If you do not have an Intel CPU/Chipset system I would not advise you to buy one, if you do, and you choose to buy one (again, they do rock) you better make sure you keep that Intel system while upgrading PC's and such.

Another alternatvie, and a more cross-platform compatible unit is M-Audio's Delta 1010 service.bfast.com/bfast/c...mp;bfmtype=gear

I will second dB's praise of the Layla, it is a great card, as long as you use the hardware they recomend, ie: processor and chipset combination's mentioned above. Otherwise, M-Audio is the choice of most and one of the easiest to install and update. They are very good at keeping their driver's current and working. Another alternative, is the Ardvark Q10. I have read some very good review's on the unit, and it is ranked right up thier with the other's. Again their are a couple of campatability issue's, but not as severe as the Layla.

Good luck.
