Anyone have any experiences with this, or something like it? My wife plays guitar, and viola, and when I let her hear the demos from this thing she drooled.

Seems no doubt it is capable of producing some very nice sounds, but has anyone got any first hand experience with them? Details please if so.

Looking for things like, delay in synth sounds, any trouble, if it sounds as good as the demos they have up and so forth.

Thanks guys !!

i've toy'ed with them. they seem to have many different effects but the affordable synths sound a little cheesy. i know that amir derak from orgy uses a combination of guitar synths and his sound is awesome... some of them don't track well (delay or latency) and some do. but if you do end up with one, a bigger gauge of strings help it track better. visit your friendly local guitar center to try out a roland gr33.

I own one. Good sounds, some better than others. Piano sounds aren't that great but the sax sounds are. I have yet to really play around with it though. The tracking is great although trying to mount the gk pickup is troublesome. The only beef with this is the piano sounds. everything else is done really well. Also the fact that you can hook it up to a external sound module with better sounds using midi is also something to look at.
