Does anyone know anything about using windows as a host program combined with adapt-x to run plug-ins?

If so can you offer me some feedback?

thanks
Joe

Are you trying to create plugin effects for media player? Is that what you are getting at? If not, please explain further...

yes
that is exactly what i want to do, but without buying an expensive host program to run the plug-ins

so i found one that is called adapt-x that allows windows to become the host

any suggestions on it or am i going the wrong way?
