hey guys, thought you might like a quick listen to one of the new tracks we are working on - it's sans vocals and has had about 2 hours worth of mixing done to it, but it's sounding pretty nice already.
Should be complete with vox in a couple of weeks - I'll post again when it's done.

Mar 29, 2004 05:35 pm wow. i am going to go back and read every jues post ever. i am going to work on my 'inner jues,' thereby becoming more jueslike in my mixing and mastering.
can't wait to hear the rest of it. if you see me hiding outside your window at night with a notebook, writing down eq settings and such, please just accept it. no need to involve the police.

Mar 30, 2004 05:05 am that is ace man, im dying to hear more now. its a ot slower than some of the other fipcycle stuff which i think is cool, more in my style of things, but the production, as ever, is flawless.
good work slick!
so, gimmee some more to listen to NOW! - i need a full flipcycle fix, not just a taster... :-)

Mar 30, 2004 05:48 pm jues, that is a fantastic intro. The synth texture's just blew me away as it built up. The patch you used for the sytnh melody after the buildup is awsome, very clear and cutting right through the heavy guitar's. The drums sound absolutely huge, especially the kick. Sounds great for a Pre-mix for sure.
Did you guys do this at your studio or the studio you work for?
I am with Flame and cant wait to hear the finished product, it sounds like it will be a fantastic arrangement.

But you didn't need me to tell you that ;)
I love the clarity of the snare and the extreme panning of the toms is a great effect. I liked Forty's comment, there...
