IS TREMENDOUS!!!

I just bought this machine on Friday their (thanks to y'all for the advice re: the drums).

I figured I could spend the next 10 years JUST trying to get ma drums to sound "real" when all I want is a good sounding drum track with more empahsis on my guitar/solos/vox.

So, after buying this wee beauty - I am NOT dissapointed. I tell yi this, the only the way I KNEW it was a machine was because I PROGRAMMED IT!

If I had heard it anywhere else i.e. on a CD, song etc I would NEVER have known! Man, the last drum machine I heard sounded like old tin cans!

Anyway, My only question (I even managed to bang out a smokin beat! Rockin!) : This unit only has MIDI In. I have a std pc (with mods as per my profile). Can I just hook up a std midi cable to my midi/game port (as its called) directly to this unit or do I need some sort of adapter from teh game port to turn it to midi??

Also, does anyone know just how this would work?? I.e. would I be able to just churn out a tune using Sonar and have it blast out the sounds using the RT123??

Cheers guys and if anyone is in the market for an excellent (and cheap £89 second hand! Told the wife £50!!!) this is the machine man!

Ya, the card should have come with an adapter of sorts. All it is is a little connector that ends in two midi plugs, one in, one out. They are pretty cheap, like $5.00 or so american. Not sure of the conversion, but it should still be cheap. Then you are all set.
