Mar 13, 2004 11:36 am whast it doing, or not. ive got no idea about these things, but the more info the better someone else'll be able to help
Mar 13, 2004 11:51 am on a given track in cakewalk, i open up the drop down menu on the input. the opions give me: 1/2 left, 1/2 right, and 1/2 stereo. then it has 3/4 left, 3/4 right, and 3/4 stereo and so on up to 7/8.
how do i use just one input at a time for a total of 8 seperate tracks?
also, when recording from the motu, i cannot hear what i'm playing but i CAN hear it during playback.

Mar 14, 2004 01:50 am I'm pretty sure, that input 1 on your card will correspond to 1/2 left, and input 2 on your card will correspond to 1/2 right. And input 3 will correspond to 3/4 left and input 4 will correspond to 3/4 right. This way you can set up for 8 seperate mono tracks. Or if at another time, you want the inputs from 1 and 2 to go on the same track (record in stereo) you would select 1/2 stereo.
Sorry, but can't help you with the second problem.
