Reading this months issue of my fav mag, Music Tech Magazine I came accross this new device from Lexicon service.bfast.com/bfast/c...mp;bfmtype=gear looks to be a VERY COOL sound card. Next time I am looking to upgrade, I am definately gonna look it up and try it out.

Im planning on buying a new soundcard in the next few months, the lexicon looks good, but the reviews seem kinda iffy... it looks like a good deal for the price to me, but i dont know much about this anyway. as for the edirol... looks grand, but way out of my price range.

So far the Edirol unit is getting good reviews. They have stable drivers and it seems to install without a hitch. The Lexicon is having driver issues, and was reported to have a couple of glitches as of yet but I am certain they will get that fixxed in no time. Edirol has worked on that one for a long time before release so I would guess that is a credit to the stability of the unit. If I go for an upgrade I may opt for the Edirol as I have been reading about it for a couple of months and so one has beefed about anything serious yet. I also read that they installed it alongside an SB card and had no conflicts either, and that would be a plus for me as I need to have a card for GM sounds installed as well.

And ya, Music Tech rocks.
