Jan 08, 2004 09:00 am i was aware of those links!! i heard about sites for making effect boxes and things like that...anyone got experience in this area?
Jan 08, 2004 09:05 am the guitarist in one of my last bands made some of his own stuff, I have made my own voice box, but nothing really heavy. Here in the Twin Cities we have a little local sorta dirty, underground electronics store that sells kits to make your own distortion and stuff like that. Nothing you'd find in Radio Shack, but they are available...

Thanx forty, Ill add those to the section as well. I allready have paia in the synth section but I like the mic link.
Jan 08, 2004 06:41 pm www.diystompboxes.com (I would have made it a link but I haven't figured that out on this site yet)has some really good information on how to build effects pedals if you're interested in that. They have a "beginner project" in the forum which is really quite basic. I've been meaning to start making my own, but I am both lazy and busy, a dangerous combination.

Jan 08, 2004 09:08 pm Firetruck, I fixed it for ya. I also poped it itno our links directory under DIY.
Also if you just tppe out the entire address as you see it in your address bar of the browser it will automatically become a link. But if you forget we usually fix em anyway.
