Was listening to the radio this morning (well internet radio but still) and the DJ played Frosty The Snowman done by the Cocteau Twins. For those who don't know the cocteau twins are a big name in the goth scene, so it was awesome to hear them play Frosty.

Dec 26, 2003 02:47 pm Hos did they come to be big in the goth scene. They were a very pop oriented band in the 80s. I guess that is one band I lost track of since then. I must look for some of their newer stuff I guess.
Dec 26, 2003 03:54 pm They are pretty poppy, but almost any goth club will play a cocteau twins song.. it's like Dead Can Dance... not really goth rock music or anything, but still big in the scene.
Dec 26, 2003 06:21 pm I can see that, Liz has one of those voices that would fit very well though in that genre. I think there may be a few tunes they have that border on the edge, but are still pretty much intended as pop. That is a cool bit of info though, I never would have thought of it. But going to their website and looking to some of the links, it seems they still have very big following.
