I would go a bit lower on the bass, it's really overpowering (at least on my setup). Also I think if you went a bit softer on the verses to leave yourself room to build for the chorus it would be much better.

Nov 24, 2003 10:40 pm Presley that is great. I didnt really notice the bass bieng to awful loud, after vocals it might sit pretty good. I love the build up and stuff in the middle to add the synths and organ in. The only thing I would look at is maybe lowering that organ stab at about 10 seconds in. It is a bit loud and did give me a bit of a start. But after listening a couple of times it fits, just a bit loud is all. Cant wait to hear it with vocals.

Nov 25, 2003 07:30 am Love it. Very nice sound quality, great general feel. The sudden organ blast at the beginning is a little intimidating. I'd maybe back the drums off just a *little* bit. Same goes for the piano towards the end. Can't hear bass well on a little pc speaker (my fault), so I won't comment there, but overall a very nice, peaceful Xmas tune. Good job.
Nov 25, 2003 11:48 am Nice-- I like it. The only thing I noticed about the mix is that the bass drum sounds like it's panned off to the right. Is it? I would recommend you center it in the stereo field. It also sounded kind of thin, like it was missing low end. An eq boost around 80 htz would do the trick. The drums as a whole could come down a little. I love the organ blast in the beginning, though :)
