well i have been useing sonar with my emu card, and it only read my card as 1 in 1 out...well i've switched over to nuendo, and omg, nuendo reads it has 8 in 1 out (4 anolog(mono) and 2 digital (stereo)...its the coolest thing, now i can record 8 different tracks at once. i really don't excpect you guys to care but i think its nifty.

If you're happy, we are happy, Glad ya got everything working like it should. Wanna know something weird though. Nuendo sees my surround sound card as 1 in and one out (or, one stero pait in and out) and Sonar sees that same card as 3 stereo pairs out...odd, eh?

in the vst inputs section, did you enlarge the window to see if it has more ins? i thought it was reading it the same as sonar but because i didnt realize you could make the window larger. but yea, that is kind of weird.
