geez, what is it with artists dying lately.

Robert Palmer's music was great, the Power Station, kinda popized, but some cool remakes. Robert Palmer was one of a kind, like his tunes or not, one of a kind.

Will any of us ever forget the skinny pale girls from his videos? I think not.

He wasnt the only one to go today, there was another that passe today as well.

And know I will never forget him, I own one of the guitars from those videos. And I trully loved his stuff, going way back and coming all the way to now. He was great, and always could get that pop hook in there somehow, even with The Power Station.

And yes I agree, too many of the good ones left us this year but remember these words.

If theres a rock and roll heaven, you know they got a hell of a band.

Peace

Well these things happen in 'threes' they say.

Take comfort from the fact that we've had the three now. Johnny Cash, that guy-who-did-Werewolf-In-London-who-I can't-remember-the-name-of, and now Robert Palmer.

Stand by for a flood of cash-in's and re-releases...

Its the pointy one that now has the beach sunset painted on it. It used to be all white, and I didnt find out what it was untill after it got repainted. Tony saw it on VH1 and came screaming down stairs to say my guitar was on TV, low and behold I called Washburn and gave them the serial number and wadda ya know. Its the only one left of two that were made for the video.

The other artist who passed the same day as Rober was Warren Zevon, ie:Werewolfs of London and such.

Warren Zevon, yes that's the guy. I'd never heard of him before, but now he's dead I've heard a couple of his tunes and he sounds good. Pitty he had to die first before i got to hear him!
