Hey guys,

I'm in a bit of a bad situation. Any of you remember that 12 String Acoustic track that I posted here, well, I never managed to get hold of anyone to help me finish it off (composition wise) - and I completly forgot about it

Until today, when the girl who needs it rang me.... erk!

You can download the mp3 from www.flipcycle.com/jonny/Jenny.mp3 - if you can lend me any assistance (bass guitar, rhodes, whatever) then it would be so greatly appreciated (and favours are made to return).

Any offers... :\

jues.

I'm not really looking for aynthing in particular - I just need to get this done and out of the way!!! :)

Have a jam and record the bass part. We can then work out a way of you getting the bass part to me then I can mix it into the track.

That song sounds really sweet! How did you get the guitar stereo effect to sound like that? I love how the vocals sit in it. So warm sounding.

What other instruments do you need? It sounds pretty good as is, actually :-) I would try some drums except that I'd probably ruin the song... haha. Plus, I need some new heads and a whole punched in my bass drum.

i can throw in my doumbek. did you use a metronome? would you be able to supply a copy that is just the guitars? the vocals throw off the tempo and make holding a tight groove difficult. the subdivisions aren't that clear, and the meter travels a bit with both the guitar and vocals. it would be a lot easier to pick out the guitar subdivisions (even better if it's minus the compression) if they're solo.

real nice jues. I don't think I'd mess with it much sounds great as is. Listening to it, it sounds complete. If you really feel it needs more, another acoustic part (6 string maybe) to bring a bass touch to it and a possibly a wooden block with some reverb for percussion.

Really imo the mood and feel of the song is there with nothing more added. :)
