OK, I did some work this morning, added some basic SoundCloud integration, you can add your username and id, the ID is required for the soundcloud tab on your profile to populate your list of tunes.

The HRC-housed music is now in maintenance mode, get it if you want it, delete it if you want to, in the hear future I'll be pulling it all down.

I am not sure how far this SoundCloud integration will go, I will be learning as I go along, b ut I am hoping to, through their API, being able to eventually have much the same type of thing we do now, showing the most recent additions of members, some sort of top 10 charts or whatever...we'll see.

Have fun. You can see my profile for an example of the song listing, which may change as I learn the player customizations and such.

You will also notice that, since I am not hosting music any more, the "HRC Pro" program has been discontinued, since music space was the big selling point. Thanks to everyone that has, over years, supported that program.

Using this URL for testing a better/easier SoundCloud forum integration...as long as the URL shows, I don't have it working it...bah.

https:// soundcloud.com / dbmasters / the-right-way (without the spaces, of course):

Awesome. Looking forward to seeing where the new integration takes us. :)

The UBB code says to add the song ID for soundcloud. But I'm not sure what the song ID is. Is it the URL for a particular song? Or something else?

It's the number that is found in the soundcloud application somewhere, I forget where...that being said, I recognize this integration as cheesy and weak, and it's the top of my to do list...well, MY to do list...which doesn't seem to often match my wife's to do list...
