Thinking about moving songs to soundcloud

So, I have been day dreaming about this for a bit...song uploading rarely happens here any more, everyone uses soundcloud, I am thinking about changing members song listings to simply consist of adding a name/id/whatever of their soundcloud uploads.
What further integration I could do into the HRC framework would be determined as time goes by, but right now, I think the soundcloud move might be a good idea, make things easier for people to keep their song list current here and have only one copy of the tune on soundcloud.
Thoughts?

Jun 02, 2013 10:41 pm Just updated my profile with the soundcloud stuff. It seems to be working.
Easiest way for me to find the "user ID" was to go to my profile page on soundcloud, click "share" under my profile description on the left, and get the number from that, not unlike when you would grab the song ID for using the integrated soundcloud tag here on HRC.
So yeah, cool beans!
Jun 02, 2013 10:43 pm Yeah, the user ID was kind of goofy to find, but I needed it for integration, I wish it would be more straight forward.
As I get to know the soundcloud API better, hopefully I will find better ways to do some stuff.
It's all a learning experience. :-)
