but I retracked the guitar for a tighter performance and remixed the drums for a punchier snare and a better overall balance. I think it sounds bloody brilliant, but I welcome any outside opinions I can get.

I put this in music and comp because I wrote it too, so any critiques you have in that department are appreciated too.

Sounds great. What do you do for guitar tone again? You use an amp simulator right? I have been thinking about picking up a VOX Tonelab EX my firend is selling.

youre gonna kill me but, the drums seem to lag in the heavy guitar bits. Did you record guitars to the drum track or a click? Maybe the guitars are a bit rushed is all there.

anything else i have is more opinion than anything really.
sounds good man.

Haha I kill nobody here. All input is good.

Ya I use pod farm a lot, but I think for this one I used this free one called the TSE x50

www.theserinaexperiment.net/website/software.htm

such a rad amp, all his plugins are sick.

I use his B.O.D for every bass track I lay down everytime.

Dematrix: The drums are programmed to the tempo of the track, so VERY quantized to the click. I DO hear it now that you mention it...that the guitars are rushed a bit. But I don't feel like opening this session for the hundredth time to change a timing issue lol. I'm gonna leave it cuz I'm lazy.

Glad you guys like it.

More overheadsssss? Parallel compress to wash them out?

At 1:00 and 3:18 I would push some kind of crushed pumpy drum room sound eg: @58s

2:50 feels like it could use another gat harmony?

Sounds great though! Just little bits I heard.

Whatever sound you use at the very beginning is really cool. I also really like the transitions. Nice piece. The little pause at 3:18 was incredibly dope, I know it seems like a little thing, but it's the little things that give a track character. Overall, I think it sounds awesome.

Yeah VERY NICE! I have to agree with the 3:18 break that kicked ***. It kind of left me with an anticipation for it to happen again.....but it didn't. And I think that was good...as I laugh at this description.
