Fault on mixer

I have a Behringer 1204 FX mixer and recently the power light has started blinking. It tends to start when the machine has been on for about five minutes then after a while it comes back on solid again.
It seems to repeat this sequence intermittently.
Has anybody any idea what this problem may be.

Thanks in anticipation
Harry

If the mixer is working perfectly, other than that, it's probably nothing much. Check the mains earth cable to be sure you're safe and there's no static build up. Push the LED gently when it fails to see if it's a dry solder joint. Try the Phantom power switch as it's a 2 colour LED with no mics attached. See if it improves. Other than that no idea.

Uh, at least one more time . . .

Yeah, it might be nothing but a little bad wiring. I own several of the Behringer small mixers and have had no trouble at all with them. I'm assuming it doesn't cause "static" or any other trouble audio-wise while you're using the mixer? Like GCT said, push down on the thing and see if that straightens out the trouble--I have a piece of kit (a twenty year old digital delay foot pedal) that has an LED that only comes on when I push down on it; it stays on, and then goes out after a while. A bad solder joint, most likely.
