Slave to a Bottle of Broken Dreams

Just wanting to get some ideas for adding to this rough draft (and rough mix) of a new tune I'm working on. I don't know if the title has been used befor or not - I googled it and didn't see anything exact? I also know the song calls for better lyrics / vocals - but I'm trying to get the basic flow of the song structure itself down. Right now it's only 2 minutes long - but I'm not sure of what to add.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Well, coming from the Metallica era, good rough draft. Not to take anything away from you, but definately needs vocals/production work. I have a few talented vocalists but none for hard rock. If you smooth it out a little, let me know and I may have someone give it a try for you. Do you want it to stay hard rock/Metal?

Also, bump your bass guitar some to lead the charge, try to match levels to your kick. And right around the 1:20 mark, scream your solo. It will add depth and length to the song. Plus when the vocal chorus comes back in, you will add inflection just by 'making it come in' if you can understand that.

I appreciate the listen and feedback, TLE. I'm going to work on making it closer to 3 minutes long - but I will heed your advice and let you know when I get it re-done.
Thanx again!
