Okay, strictly from a compositional standpoint, the overall structure is a little boring, or maybe naive. You've got a nice groove going, but I think you can expand on it, and make things more interesting. Back when I was taking composition courses in school, one thing that was always harped on was changing things up, making things interesting structurally in a melodic, harmonic, and textural sense.

The first 2 minutes or so are fine, but after you break away from the lead, I'd do something different. Change keys, maybe create a bridge or extended bridge/transition into the 2nd half, and possibly bring in a new or different lead synth in the 2nd half to play with or against the first lead. Maybe have the two leads "duel" with each other, or have some "call and answer" type things going on. Don't be scared to get creative with it. Have fun with the track, see what you can come up with. :)

This is strictly my opinion, and I'm basing this a lot on my own experiences (my older music tended to be kinda boring, and the melodic elements/structure tended to wander around kinda aimlessly...that is still an area I try to be careful in, as I tend to still do that when I'm brainstorming ideas for stuff, and I like to improv quite a bit.)

So yeah, Iin a nutshell, think about how the track is put together, see if there is anything you can do to change up instruments, make it interesting, maybe see if there is a way you can change the key a bit, or maybe create a bridge or extended bridge between the two big "halves" of the tune. I think you've got a good start, and you just need to make it more interesting. :)

I hope that helps. I know composition and structure can be subjective, and sometimes it boils down to the purpose of the track, whether it's something for a club that others might play over the top of or mix in with other stuff, or something being used in a commercial, or played over the radio/CDs etc. etc. etc. But in the end, it's -your- music, and you're free to do whatever you want with it. :)

If you wanted input on the mix aspect, I think overall it's a pretty good mix. Nothing really stands out in a negative way, and it's not like frequencies are competing for space, and nothing sounded off or muddy to me. Only thing I might look at is the bass line since it is pretty up front in the mix, but overall the percussion is nice and punchy, and the synths fit well together.

I haven't listened at all, sorry...but I just wanted to share my love of Ulrich Schnauss, in particular the album Strangely Isolated Place. That's my favorite electronica album so far. Blumenthal is a gorgeous track. If you're looking for minimalist electronica inspiration. I'll listen when I get home.
