Can anyone help with this please:

I'm using Cubase (elements 6) and a MIDI keyboard (E-MU). Everything's fine until I press play and it all comes through the left hand side. It's panned in the center.

I thought maybe it's something to do with the mono/stereo setting - but I've no idea where they are on cubase so I can't change anything.

Also - instead of starting another thread I also have a seperate issue:

I have an Alesis multimix 6 plugged into my computer via USB and I've pluggued an SM58 into the mixer - it's plugged in, turned on but there's no sound when I sing through the mic - nothing shows up on Cubase.

You're trying to record a mono source to a stereo track. Don't do that -- It's in there somewhere.

That would be my first guess as well. If you plug the sm58 into channel 1 and tell Cubase to record Stereo 1/2 you will only be getting one channel. Verify you are tracking to Mono 1, Mono 2 etc...
