My roomate is in the market for a passive board with 10 xlr inputs for under $300. In helping him look, I stumbled upon a company called "Pyle" that I have never heard of. I couldn't find any product reviews onIine, and was hoping somebody has personal experience with them and could give me a few words.
Thanks!

Jul 12, 2011 02:07 am I've not had personal experience with them, but I've heard some negative things about them overall. For a budget board, I'd go with maybe Behringer or yamaha something.
That said, the mixers I've seen with 10 XLR inputs on the board run about $380-ish to $400-ish.

Might be other mixers worth checking out too.
Also what application are you looking at? Recording in the studio, live gig?
Jul 12, 2011 07:39 am I have used a lot of stuff from Pyle, but not in terms of boards, mostly speakers...their tweeter drivers are decent priced, I'd have to change them in my stage monitors every couple of shows until I fused them, but I always asked more from them then they were able to produce, so I wasn't too upset.
