Well Hell

Hey guys, I got a situation here.
My laptop died about a week ago, then i had the mother board replaced.
After that, I can't record, can listen anything on cubase.
To listen music on windows media player is working well.
To open my files on cubase is been hell.
My doubt is: Do I have to reinstall the cubase? Will the reinstall make the cubase works again?
There is any solution without the reinstall?

I use the Lexicon Omega on cubase.
