Do I have to update my pc‘s drivers on a regular basis? What may happen if I don’t update my drivers?

If it's Windows, just run Windows Update regularly. You don't need to always update drivers, but there are monthly patches that should be ran to fix issues.

i'm a bit torn on this issue...as for OS updates yeah, but i'm kinda of the philosophy of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" when it comes to new drivers for hardware that's working just fine and dandy with the old one....then again i rocked windows 98 well into the 21st century, still use winamp 3.1 to this very day...so yeah i'm a bit behind on some things. but i'm happy with a system that i know works.

i know the right thing to do is to have everything up to date, but sometimes new drivers can have bugs. i prefer to stay 3-5 years behind the times when it comes to all things tech, it's cheaper and by then most main issues have been dealt with.
