Hi. So the thing is i've got an old korg ix300 and i want to hook it up to my laptop and use it as a midi controller. I don't have the manual, however and i've no idea how to work the thing. I'm also really scared that its so dated, that this isn't possible. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting this done? It's the only access i have to midi controller functionality of any kind, and i really need one of those. Thanks guys..

If it has a midi out (which it should), you can use something like an m-audio midisport which accepts midi input and sends it into your usb port. Basically it is a go between for midi and usb. Hope this helps.
