Hey guys, for the purpose of writing music i like to use loopers.
so here is my question! Is the RC 20 looping station from boss, able to hook up to a mixer.
in other words can i go from the RCA outs of the mixer to the Single 1/4 input on the looper?
I already own a chord that is rca on one side and balanced TRS or 1/4 inch on the other!

i want to do this so i can have many instruments plugged into the mixer so i can switch fastly from one to another.

Please answer quickly, my bday is in 4 days! thanks
Ryker

yes it can, but if i remmeber correcty the RC 20 (not XL) is mono, so u would be missing one input. They have a new one, RC 30 which is stereo (and much better all around), plus i think the XL is stereo. So those r ur options, hooking up should be fine from the mixer.

Another option is goin through the AUX input, again dont remember if the 20 has this, but u can get a Y-Cable that will be 1/8" to the AUX and RCA on the other side.

So there r alot of routes to take, but if u didnt get the RC 20 yet, i recommend upgrading to something like the 30 or XL

what i actually ended up doing, was buying a Jamm master solo, looping pedal and running my outs on my mixer to the input of the looper, and it works amazing! i have no regrets with that purchase:)

I had some qualms about the digitech jamman, its a good unit and its definitely at the forefront of its type of units, but compared to the new boss 30 i think it got surpassed (the boss is newer so yeah competition). Plus ever since the original jam man ive had some questinos about the digitech, coz it seems they kind of bury some of the functions and try to make u get a bunch of add-ons (footswtiches) n such just so u can access them. But thats me, im sure its great piece, i just wanted to put that out there.
