my computer monitor is only 17" and i dont like to have to scroll down many tracks. i am trying to avoid adding more tracks and especially tracks that i will use for parallel compression.

Is there a plugin or some workaround in cubase where i can split the channel output and effect one while the other remains without effect?

Cytomic - The Glue is a great compressor with a wet/dry function!

Oh and just use an FX track with a compressor on it. You can send audio from tracks to it just like a reverb/delay etc.
