Are there any boards that have 16 ch. in and 16 ch. direct outs?

Nov 27, 2010 06:37 pm Though I don't know what board(s) would answer that question, I do know that you can use channel inserts for direct outs. I do this on my MG16/4 -> ESP1010. 8 channel inserts -> 8 LINE inputs.
Push the 1/4 plug up to the first click in the insert, not all the way in or it'll break the signal flow to the rest of the board.
I also think the phase is inverted, so re-invert in your software.
Hope this helps, and sorry if you're only looking for DO.

Take your pick -- A&H, Toft, even Mackie. You might need to go higher than 16 channels (most of them, except probably the Malcom Toft stuff, give you a number of goofy stereo input channels that you'll never need), but there are plenty out there.
