HELP! Sonar 8.5.2 wont save anything

So yeah, Out of nowhere Sonar just locks up if I try and save anything. whether its a new project or an existing one with some changes....
I thought I may have somehow gotten a virus, so I re-loaded my OS (windows 7) formatted my hard drives and put sonar back on the pc.
And wouldnt you know it, I plug my external back in, open up my back ups and boom... SAME ISSUE!!!
Some one, please help me!!! I desperatley need to get back up and running!!!

Sooooo, have you installed any new software or done any specific OS updates since this started happening?

Hmmm, few things to try as well: are you able to save, copy or move files around or anything of that nature from other software while the external is plugged in? Does the same issue occur with the drive unplugged? Does it happen when saving to the main disk as opposed to saving to the external, or vice versa? Just trying to rule out a faulty hard disk here.

Does the program freeze before it opens the save dialogue window, (i.e. when you select "save" or "save as" from the menu) or does it freeze up when you select a location and click the button to actually save the file.

The more info we have, the more ammo we have to try and figure it out. And, of course, anything you can think of that you installed, updated or changed/added recently.
