Hey guys,

In October 2008 I transferred $2000US to HTICS pro audio (www.hticsproaudio.com/ ) for a deposit on a used Neotek Elite. They informed me part of the deopsit would go towards having a tech check out the console.

A few months later they let me know that the console was no longer available and they were actively searching for an alternative.

the last email I recieved from them was on the 10/6/2009, saying they were still searching for an alternative console.

I have been trying to make contact with them from New Zealand ever since, with little success, and was wondering if anyone knows Lynn, or anyone else from HTICS and could provide me with some contact details.

Feeling a bit shafted tbh.
Cheers,
C_S

Crap! Try submitting a complaint through the Better Business Bureau? I know that for US based companies, an investigation from the BBB makes the company snap to attention.I used to direct customers at a certain Big Box electronics store when I was a member of a Nerd Squad to BBB when the Big Box would try to enforce an unfair policy. Most of those people ended up getting what they wanted.

well, they have a 10 year domain that expires next month... not a good sign.

BBB is pretty much considered a scam itself here in Ohio so I'd check the local PD and hope it's in a suburb with bored cops... usually there's at least someone who wants to do anything other than traffic enforcement.

According to their phone number they are in Rob Stemples area. I wonder if he knows anything about them. I'll hit him up on FB this afternoon and see if he'll pop into this thread>.

Aw man. The link no longer works, and I have never heard of this company.

I take it that the area code for the phone number was either 610, or 215?

Man sorry about this Colonel! I hope you have names and receipts from the transaction.

Oh, and Dom Harter is at a trade show. He should get back to you soon.

OK. That's about an hour and a half North of me. I know some companies up there. I'll ask around and see if anyone knows them, or has dealings with them. And I'll check to see if there is a resolution department.

I would contact the BBB. I'm not sure what Zek is referring to regarding a scam, but I can think of three different scenarios in which I was personally involved where BBB was contacted and customers were granted their entitled goods.

Zek, if you have a reason to believe the BBB will put Colonel in a more disadvantaged situation than he's already in, feel free to disagree again.

A couple things you can do that might offer a little help is contact the states attorney general sometime it's not binding but they can offer a little heat under their butts, and try sending a letter with signature required to verify if they might still exist.

I didn't have any free time to call them today. I should get a chance tomorrow.
