Alesis Multimix 16 Firewire Conflicts with Windows

Hi

I am using Adobe Audition with my Alesis 16 Ch Desk & all works well, but at random my PC just reboots it's self & the Microsoft reply to the error is that my PC is conflicting with the device, I have un-installed & re-installed the drivers like 600 times, upgraded the Ram to 2GB, but still.

I do realise that my 1.8GB celeron is inadiquite for a full blown recording studio, but for a 3 or 6 song Demo............... I mean??? I really need what I have to make way for money to buy what I need etc.

Any Advise?
