lost files in Nuendo 4

I recently recorded 26 tracks in Nuendo 4. I quickly checked the raw tracks on Friday and everything was fine. I came back on Monday to start mixing and 4 of the tracks had disappeared. The peak files are still there, any ideas? Sorry if this is an old topic, I'm new.
