Byte-Mix Sound -- small site update:

For those of you who don't know, I've been working on a couple home/project studio guides which are more of a guideline than a comprehensive manual or anything. These guides are pretty much my own viewpoint on matters which include my own experiences as well as tips and tricks from the good folks around here at HRC.

The first guide is a room setup guide which has been up for awhile now. It could use some diagrams admittedly, and I'll update it once I find time to draw/sketch some out. It is patterned after my own mindset and tips and advice from folks like Massive here, and Ethan Winer. Which, I linked to both of their pages for acoustics and room setup as deeper references than my guidelines go.

The new guide is basically a gear guide somewhat inspired from reading the guides and forums over at tweakheadz. I basically wanted to write a practical budget-minded gear guide for home/project studio musicians like us since we've seen so many questions from folks starting out in the field.

Granted there's bound to be a typo or three, but I'll go through it again at some point and clear those up.

Feel free to give the guides a read, and feel free to leave any comments on the info page. (which I just implemented some spam filtering, so that will be a good test for it too)

Site looks good jbot. I don't have time to read through your tips/tricks beings I'm at work but I will when I get a chance. Would like to see how much HRC has tainted you ;) lol
