Hello, I am new to this forum and its already helping me hook up my Tascam 144 to my new iMac, but I am not there yet.....I have good green signal in on the Input to the 144 but can't see signal in GB, I have the input set as the 144 and output set as Built-in output in GB. I have updated the firmware and the drivers. I am expecting to see some color in the signal bars in GB? How can I test this? Is there a way to set the levels of your input in the software before you start recording like for any other recording gear? When I add a new real instrument I have the input source set at Mono 1(us-144), the monitor is on and the recording level is automatically locked at zilch.
