Sounds like your speaker is turned on full volume when recording vocals?

I record vocals on sony sound forge. I have a sound blaster sound card (which i know is rubbish), progain pro2200 mic pre amp (which i also know isnt exactly top quality!) and a behringer ultravoice mic. The quality isnt that bad, like when i record vocals it sounds perfect but when i play them back theres the noise that i can only describe as when you turn your volume up to full and you hear kind of speaker nothingness!!

Have i got a volume up to high on something or a setting need changing or is it because i have equipment thats totally pants?

Previously my problem was that and crackly noises. Iv now sorted the crackly noises due to getting alot of the above equipment and better connections but iv still got this last problem that i want to solve.
