Looks like Line 6 released Pod Farm 2.0 today. most new features are with things like midi foot control, a new A/B box feature instead of dual amping you have a box (so if you want to turn off clean amp 1, and turn on distorted amp 2, just route that to a midi channel). But there's also some new DAW functionality as well. Like sticking a mic preamp model in front of the guitar amp model. And a less limited approach to the effect model chain, you can put them in any order. Looks like its a free update for pod-farm platinum owners. Which includes a lot of the HRC (:

It's only free if you bought and registered after 10/2009, otherwise it's a $35-$49 upgrade. I don't see much in it that makes me want to spring for it. Since Amplitube 3 & GR 4 were released I haven't touched Pod Farm, it's fallen quite a bit behind the competition in both sound & features and V2 doesn't look to be doing much to rectify that.

Yaa, it's mostly just some well needed tune ups on the program. Its nice to have more control over the chain, and way more midi control (i bought i line 6 midi foot controller, only to realize i'd have to use the more cluttered but free gearbox interface to use the pedal). So i'm quite excited. But definitely no massive breakthroughs here.
