Suddenly can't open Reason 3.0 (using Windows XP)

Been using Reason for years - no problems. I discovered this morning that for some unknown reason REASON no longer worked - something got corrupted I guess - no clue. When I try to open any REASON file, the User Agreement pops up on the screen. I click Agree and am then prompted to insert the Orkester Sound Bank CD (it shows a graphic with the #2). Unfortunately, when I insert the copy of CD #2 nothing happens and I have to click Quit. I've tried this numerous times, using each of the CDs I have, but none of them works.

So, I insert CD #1, open it up and try to click on the REASON Program File - get the same User Agreement screen and have to Quit. When I click on any other file on CD #1 I get the message that "Windows cannot open the file." (I'm not having any other Windows issues) I thought perhaps I should uninstall REASON and try to reinstall using the CDs you gave me, but even the REASON uninstaller won't open - Access Denied.

So, I'm stuck. Any ideas?

I would re-install, just over the existing version. Hopefully you won't look any custom settings, and you should have your projects somewhere backed up / out of the way.

ain't computers great?

Hope this helps, and good luck.
