Apr 22, 2003 05:13 am that is, assuming you wanna play bass....dont suppose you fancy the drum part?

I can do A bass solo, I am sure I can do the exact little riffs he did, but that wouldn't be any fun...
I could program the drum part maybe...I dunno...

Apr 22, 2003 05:34 am i feel a collaboration coming on...maybe jues fancies doing some keyboards for us? that'd be cool too...
any drummers or guitarists wanna give it a shot? or, preferably, a drummer and guitarist who can put down the basic rhythm track for us to layer with our bits...
this is gonna be COOL!

Apr 22, 2003 11:21 pm Programing a Keith Moon drum part, now that would be something fun for sure. Flame, I can just hear you screaming like Roger. Can you do the stutter?

Apr 23, 2003 12:27 am I think I can come up with a drummer, since Db already beat me out on the bass part....whine..whine. I love that song. Sniff, sniff.
Apr 23, 2003 08:23 am Instead of saying "My Generation" the singer should say "Home Recording Connection".

Apr 24, 2003 04:11 pm I'd be all about a drum track. I need a reason to use my new delta.

Apr 24, 2003 05:55 pm I can't wait to hear this :-)
Apr 24, 2003 06:07 pm I'm more than happy to contribute whatever I can. Sounds like you guys might have all the bases covered, but if you need anything that I can offer. By all means, throw it my way. Maybe some backing vox?

Apr 24, 2003 10:54 pm dB, I think this calls for some time in the studio here to lay down some tracks and it would be a good excuse to swill a few beverages.

Apr 25, 2003 01:11 pm why would ya need an excuse to swill a few beverages?

Apr 25, 2003 10:44 pm Now adays, I need an excuse for everything. And blue, mutliple layers of guitars would make this the now generation sound. A wall of sound so to speak.

Apr 28, 2003 05:21 am wall of sound is good...the more people involved the better i reckon (as long as they're all playing the same notes at rounghly the same time!)

Jul 24, 2003 10:34 pm OK, I just read this, and I stillthink it is a great place to start a colab disc. I will see what happens next week or Sunday when I get home. Gotta split time between mixing for a comp disc for a new band and this though. I love that tune for sure. We used to play it live and it always got the chics dancin.
Jul 25, 2003 11:32 am I have the midi file for this song if someone needs it drum track might come in handy
