Hi Everyone,
Im extremely frusterated im trying to take my behringer Xenyx 802 to go straight into my computer. I have the 2 RCA outlets going into the mic outlet on my laptop using a Y-cable, and the sounds comes through but all i get i sbackround noise i cant seem to fix. Its a loud buzzing in the backround of my guitar

The mic input is really not built to take the signal from ur mixer thats y ur getting so much noise. There is no really good way to input ur mixer into ur computer without somekind of dedicated audio interface. Behringer has a dirt cheap one that will allow u to plug in ur RCA cables and convert them to a USB input.

Even if u switch to ur line-in input u cant expect much quality.
