I am using AA 3.0 for recording voice overs at home. I have a Shure SM7B mic, M-Audio pre-amp with phantom power, Toshiba laptop computer.
When I record the vo's on AA3, there is no crackling interference. But when I save it and play it back, there is at the beginning of each recording for about 2 to 3 seconds. When I record one commercial in little sections, I don't get it at the beginning of each section. It's only at the very beginning of the recording.
I use the noise filters in AA3.0 but I still get it.
I've tried saving the files into different locations thinking I wasn't saving into a digital file location. I was saving it into My Music on my computer, and got the noises. I saved onto My Videos on my computer, still got it.
I bought a removable scan disk and saved it onto that, still get it.
I emailed Adobe customer support but who knows how long that will take and I don't know if they will even be able to help me because I don't know if the problem is the AA 3 or something else.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
