I know i've been gone from HRC for a little while. Family and work have taken up a lot of my time the last 6 months or so. Some of you know I have 2 little boys (2 & 4) and they keep you busy ,it's great , but not so when you want to work on music . Music wise i've not worked on any projects for over a year and a half , that sucks but i've been busy with other important things. We still live in Guam (until Oct or Dec ) and can't wait to get back to the states. Jen and I are expecting a little one in June , and i just found out today that we will be having another boy, that's it last one I'm getting snipped :p
Now to the fun stuff, I'm back out in Iraq again ( if you're conting at home kids that is #4 and my 9th since 2001 when i found HRC) it's not bad it quiet and i back at the 1st base I opend over her almost 7 years later, nothing looks the same this place is built up. I was staying in a tent eating MRE's and washing my cloths in a bucket last time I was in Tallil, now I have my own room , with internet and a TV. Anyway I'll be back here on HRC for a wee bit (at least 6 months ) so i can catch up and make my 6 moths go by faster .

Thanks for getting the job done out there

is Guam really all that bad? I mean...you have a studio on a tropical island. That's kind of a dream of mine...

thanks dan. Quincysan, Guam isn't terrrible , it gets old after a while . I have a much smaller place than i did in CA ( i have to share my "studio" with a pack n play too hahah) plus, all the local music is either crappy cover bands or bad raggae. I just can't wait to get back get a house and have my own space again , but that'll be in about a year . I have to finish my time out here then go back to guam for a few months , it's all good.

California eh? Being that you're in the military, I don't suppose you live in San Diego do you? I'm in San Diego right now for work. I can DEFINITELY understand why you would miss this location. I don't want to leave.

Qincysan, I'll break it down for you like this man . I was stationed at Travis AFB CA (between sac and sanfran) from 1998-2007 , at the edn of 2007 i received orers to go to Andersen AFB Guam (for 3 years) I've been there for 2 now, i'm deployed from guam (my house is there) to Ali Base Iraq for 6 months . I was saying how i missed my old house i had in CA because it was over twice the size of my digs in guam. My little brother is in San Diego (he's in the navy) and he loves it there . I wouldn't mind going back .

wow 6 months fly by. reading back over my post man i was a bit of a bummer . Well this has been to date one of the best trips to the sad box yet. I feel great , look great and i'm ready to go home . Our replacments should be here today and what a wonderful day it is . I'v been out of the HRC loop for a while since my PC at work, well don't . Jen had our son last month so it'll be nice to see my boy when i get back . I was a little in the dumps and in a rut for the past year or so (you never see it happening) but i've got my head back on and I'm ready to get back to work (music) . I've been working my *** of out here and lost almost 30 lbs , so i'm back to what i was around 2003 but with more muscle . I hope all is well with everyone , have a great 4th if you're in the states if you're not have a great weekend .

Any chance of coming to the Twin Cities, or are you going to make me come to the Bay this time? I have like a half dozen people I could hook up with out there...four of which are your family :-)
