I've been really into the Graceland album by Paul Simon recently. It was a collab with South African musicians including Ladysmith Black Mambazo. What do you guys know about music in this vein that might be worth a listen? I've been loving the Putomayo Collection From Memphis To Mali. GREAT stuff there...especially since my go-to genre is Delta blues. I love stuff my Amadou and Merriam too. Anybody got any recommendations off the top?

Jan 02, 2010 03:33 pm On ething I can suggest is to pick up a copy of a magazine called Global Rythems. It has more then just this style but the artist's are from around the world and it is the only magazine out there covering World Music.
