hooking up a mixer

am new to this. I have a small project to record. i bought a xenyx1204 behringer mixer which came with a usb. after connecting it to my pc, sound is coming from the pc through the mixer but Iam failing to record via the mixer. I have a condencer mic behringer c-1. its cheap but for a start its not that bad. i would like to be recording via my mixer coz my condencer mic needs the phantom power.

I am using CUBASE. Please guys help. thanx iadvance
