Anybody ever use one of these?
My band mate somehow ended up with two of them, wants to sell me one for $125. Seems like a good deal. I've been giving it a workout, and it seems to warm up my tone nicely through my cheapo amp.
Heard anything, good or bad, about these?

Nov 22, 2009 01:31 am I have the Seymour Duncan tremolo pedal and though i cant vouch for the sound on the unit ur asking aobut it seems SD is doing a good job of creating solid and functional pedals. I picked up mine for more than 125 bucks for sure and i like it alot.
Their sound more likely than not will not become some legendary vintage years from now but i think their units r great in terms of lettign u tweak ur sound and having responsive dials n such

Nov 22, 2009 04:11 pm If it is the Classic your using then $125 is a good deal. I've seen them still going for over $175 used so your in price wise.
I know its using a pair of sub mini tubes to do the work and it does get hot quickly. Tube life I'm not sure of. But I do know it does have some very good tone to it for a stomp box pre amp like that. I found the tones pretty nice and it does a good job of getting a pretty wide variety of tone for a stomp box.
Looked to be built pretty durable as well.
