I'm recording into pro tools (digi 001 unit) From my roland fantom keyboard. I've got the sync going midi but right at about the 13th measure It starts going off the measure. Its like the instrumental goes behind the correct measure it is supposed to be on. It's like there is a delay after the 13th measure. If this has happend to anyone or if anyone knows the answer to this problem PLEASE let me know what I can do to fix this problem.... Thank you, Jeff

Apr 13, 2003 04:32 pm To tell the truth, you should always choose the sync to audio clock option. The clock in most sound cards or audio interfaces is much more accurate then the the midi clock. It sounds as though your setup is not allowed to freewheel and catch up to the audio clokck when in midi sync mode. So switching to audio clock should solve your problem.

Apr 13, 2003 04:35 pm The audio card I have is the pci card that came with the digi 001/software package. Is there any kind of specific step to take towards the setup in pro tools le 5.3.1 pc software to get this thing synced up correctly?

Apr 13, 2003 04:44 pm In your project options, or maybe globel options, you should have a choice of clock you want the program to follow to, something like internal, midi sync, smpte/mtc and audio. Just select the audio one and you should be good to go. It may also be under preferances in PT Le, I am not to sure.
