Im using ez drummer, and long story short, all of a sudden im getting hi hats in my song that arent even in the ******* midi map!
and in some spots where they "actually" are, they are off time, (literally)

anyone got any suggies? right now i feel like taking to my compy with a axe.

Im also having trouble with superior 2.0 (ezdrummer). it keeps telling me its not authorized to run on my compy. first it works now it doesnt. !@#$$%!!

(Im onto toontrack about that, but just thought i would throw it in here also as it may be related, dude from toontrack says i got duplicate accounts anyway)

checked my midi map and the hats bieng hit, definaltey arent in that spot, in some spots where there are "just" cymbals, im getting hats in between, on the off! but there's no hats there at all.

most unimpressed, to say the least.

comments, pleeeease.

Its probly not the PC's fault to start with so don't go that route.

You might not see them but there might be a second set of notes that are on duplicate drum sounds that are out of the region you can view. Scroll up and down the entire note page to see what there is there.

thats what i thought too at first but nothing there.

in fact, even after the song has completley finished and ther's nothing but white grid, you can still hear the hats! they just be going on forever it seems.

totally wierd!
lucky ive done no mixing so i set up a new instrument track and copied the drum map to that and now its ok.

dont wanna know what happened. i even trashed cubase preferences and still it dint change.

Ghost in the machine?

so now all i gotta do is liase with toontrack and get superior sorted.

Ya, it sounds like the track had some hidden information on it that you could not see. That or there was a hidden track underneath that track. I've had that happen before were I was doing a layer and forgot about the bottom layer. That can be annoying as hell when that happens and you forget.

i think it had a glitch or something coz even an 1hr later down the track in that project where no man had tread before it was still there.
