Oct 07, 2009 05:43 am Hi there! We're a progressive rock duo from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In januari this we made our first album Defined Skies. The album was totally self-produced. As we are now working on our new album, we could really use some profound feedback on our previous production (or on our music if you want :-) ). Our old songs were recorded and mixed at home with Logic Studio. We did the drum with samples. Parts of our new album will be recorded in a professional studio with a real drummer, so hopefully that's one problem out of the way. Most of the mixing etc. we would like to do ourselves though. You can find our songs on www.myspace.com/circusparanoia . Thanks for the attention! Circus Paranoia edit: or last.fm: www.last.fm/music/Circus+paranoia our website: www.circusparanoia.nl |

Oct 07, 2009 09:53 pm This is what I get after clicking the link tonight: "Invalid Friend ID. This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted." Apparently something fishy was going on or the account wouldn't have been deleted . |

Oct 08, 2009 01:13 am Giving it a quick listen on my cans right now (Fiancee's asleep with a cold) I have to say I really like what I'm hearing so far. I'll give it a better listen on my monitors once I get back from RHT tomorrow afternoon, but I think I'll like what I hear hehe. :) |

Oct 08, 2009 03:18 pm Well considering I listened on the myspace player today and I find its compression for the web hideous. I have to say I think those songs there sounded very good. The drum production for the most part sounds very good. I would not be very critical of that at all. I"ll head over to last FM or your site and give them a better listen tonight or tomorrow after noon. From what I have heard so far though I really like what I have heard. I am a big Prog Rock fan and you touch that genre very well. Yet you have some good pop feel to several of the tracks as well. |

Oct 08, 2009 10:40 pm Sounds good to me. Keep in mind that what seems perfect today, will sound less perfect in a year or so. We live and learn. At least I like to think so... ;-) Like the style a lot and I enjoyed the listen. Good luck with your new project and let us know how it's going. |

Nov 01, 2009 02:51 pm OK thanks for your observations! I think we'll post some work in progress here, when we're in the post-production stage! See what you think then. New album is going to be great! :-) |
